Terms of Use

1.1 99 App is building a values-led digital money platform, combining interest-free, Sharia-aligned and ethical everyday money accounts, multi-currency functionality, and integrated giving features.

1.2 At this stage, the Service provides informational ethical-finance tools (such as investment screening and a Zakat calculator), explains our vision, offers early access to features as they roll out, and lets us engage with potential users and partners.

1.3 We are not yet authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") or any other regulator to provide regulated financial services, and we do not hold ourselves out as being so authorised.

1.4 Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, legal or tax advice, or an offer to buy or sell any financial product.

2.1 The Service is intended for individuals who are at least 16 years old. If you are under 16, you must not use it.

2.2 We do not guarantee the Service will always be available or uninterrupted, and we may change it to reflect our products, user needs, regulatory requirements and business priorities.

3.1 By joining our early-access programme or submitting any form, you confirm your information is true and accurate.

3.2 Being in our early-access programme does not guarantee acceptance as a user, access to particular features, or availability in your region.

3.3 You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

4.1 Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data; by using the Service you acknowledge it.

4.2 Where you choose a faith-based (for example Sharia-aligned) finance-framing option that reveals your religious beliefs, we process that information only with your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

4.3 The app lets you download your data and delete your account at any time.

5.1 Content in the Service (including any articles) is provided for general information only and is not advice; obtain professional advice before acting on it.

5.2 We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate but do not warrant it is complete, accurate or suitable.

5A.1 The app may include informational tools such as an investment screening feature (ethical and, where you choose a faith-based framing, Sharia screening) and a Zakat calculator.

5A.2 These tools are provided for general information only. A screening result is a methodological verdict under the stated standard and data, and a Zakat figure is a self-assessment estimate. Scholarly and methodological interpretations differ.

5A.3 Nothing produced by these tools is financial, investment, tax or religious advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any investment. Capital is at risk: investment involves risk and is not suitable for everyone; the value of investments and the income from them can go down as well as up and you may not get back the amount originally invested; and past performance is not a reliable indicator of future returns. The tax treatment of investments depends on your individual circumstances and may be subject to change. You should obtain professional advice, including from your tax adviser, before acting.

5A.4 The company and market data used for screening is provided by third parties. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete or current, and we are not liable for decisions you make in reliance on it.

6.1 All intellectual property rights in the Service and its content are owned by or licensed to 99 App.

6.2 You may view and use the Service for personal, lawful use; you must not copy, modify or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.

7.1 You agree not to use the Service in any way that breaches applicable law, nor to use automated systems to access it without our written consent.

7.2 We may restrict or suspend access if you breach these Terms.

8.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8.2 Subject to 8.1, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service.

9.1 From time to time we run referral rewards and prize draws to thank our early community. They are free to enter: no purchase or payment is ever required to take part, and entering never affects your early-access position.

9.2 Referral rewards: the more people who join using your referral link or code and confirm their email, the higher you rank on the referral leaderboard. As a thank-you, the top five referrers will each receive a gold-plated 99 card.

9.3 Prize draw: once 5,000 people have joined our early-access programme, one member will be selected at random to receive an iPhone (model subject to availability). Selection is random and is not based on your position or your number of referrals.

9.4 Eligibility: open to early-access members aged 16 or over. We may verify eligibility before issuing any reward, and may disqualify entries that breach these Terms or involve fake, automated or duplicate sign-ups.

9.5 Rewards are personal to you, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. If a stated reward becomes unavailable we may substitute one of equal or greater value.

9.6 These promotions are run by 99 Financial Technologies Ltd and are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Apple or Google. Please direct any questions about a promotion to us, not to Apple or Google.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms; we will change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
